Great beachfront location and friendly staff. Limited parking space.

The queen suite was spotless with a view. A microwave, coffee & tea making machines and a refrigerator were provided if needed. The staff were helpful and wonderful whole time of my stay.

Sublime, clean hotel in a downtown area.

The parking situation was a nightmare—tiny spaces that barely fit our family car. Plus, the room felt more like a rundown motel. The sink right next to the bed caused constant disturbances. Not coming back.

The breakfast with great atmosphere there created by Downa. Professional, competent staff towards all guests. Private parking on site provided. Free coffee in the lobby🙂❤🙂

Access to the beach was a letdown due to storm damage, forcing a five-minute walk to public access. But witnessing the sunrise was simply breathtaking. The large room had comfy beds, and the staff was friendly and quick to address maintenance issues, like our air conditioner. Breakfast was decent, but parking could be a hassle—twice I ended up in overflow. The patio area needed cleaning, and the hotel was undergoing a roof replacement, which made mornings noisy. While it had its flaws, I’d consider a short return, though expectations would have to be adjusted.

Came expecting sun and beach time after long calls assuring normalcy. The ocean was closed, and the pool was too. A free cancellation doesn’t cut it when I’ve driven nine hours based on misleading information. On the bright side, the staff was incredibly helpful. The breakfast was a standout highlight—made from scratch, with delicious biscuits and gravy. The room was clean but outdated, and the fridge didn’t work, leading to wasted medication and food. Roaches were unexpected guests; maintenance needs attention. Parking was a hassle, forcing a crossing over a busy highway. Decent location and wonderful staff, but considerable room for improvement. Would recommend better communication and upkeep.

No complains at all, REALLY REALLY NICE stay for labor day weekend. Fairly clean place with ocean views and supper friendly staff. Great pool, great and beautiful location to the area I was instructed by the front desk at check.

while the location and service held promise, the experience was marred by unexpected pet fees and a rude receptionist, disappointing a hopeful stay

Great beach access but needs improvements

La Quinta By Wyndham Oceanfront Daytona Beach offers fantastic beach access, making it easy to enjoy the sun without parking fees. the staff could be more accommodating, and the property could benefit from a refresh, especially in maintenance and clean-up operations.

Very good situation with stairs to the beach, parking lot without surcharge. Rooms newly renovated or equipped. No carpet floor!

Standard continental breakfast was so far ok but unfortunately everything with polystyrene tableware again

The room at La Quinta was clean and had basic amenities like a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. there were some areas that needed improvement. The housekeeping service was poor, with dirty floors and inadequate cleaning. I requested for the floors to be mopped, but it didn't happen. The beds were not made properly on one occasion, and the towels provided were dingy. The room needed updates, as the patio doors were difficult to open and close, and there was no patio light. The staff seemed to just do the minimum required, and there was a general lack of morale. The breakfast offered was mediocre, with scrambled eggs and sausage that were just okay. We didn't receive maid service during our stay, and when we asked for clean towels, it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. the parking lot was inadequate, with multiple accidents occurring during our stay. The pool area always felt dirty, and there weren't enough tables or umbrellas. The ice machines were often empty, causing inconvenience. Despite these issues, the location of the hotel was great, being right on the beach.
